You MUST be a Current Financial Member of CSANZ to apply at FCSANZ Status

 Applications are due 8 weeks prior to the CSANZ Board meeting.

Applications are open to financial members of CSANZ that meet the following criteria:

  • Cardiologists with FRACP in Cardiology > 3 years and practising independently; or
  • Cardiothoracic Surgeons with FRACS in cardiothoracic surgery > 3 years and practising independently; or
  • Cardiologists who have completed equivalent postgraduate specialist training and qualifications and with registration by AHPRA/MCNZ as a practicing Cardiologist; or
  • Cardiothoracic Surgeons who have completed equivalent postgraduate specialist training and qualifications and with registration by AHPRA/MCNZ as a practicing Cardiothoracic Surgeon; or
  • Scientists with a doctoral degree with at least 3 years post-doctoral experience and conducting research independently, principally in cardiovascular disease.
  • Nursing or Allied Health professionals who have held a senior leadership position in cardiovascular health care > 3 years and who have demonstrated leadership in the advancement of cardiovascular health in Australia or New Zealand.
