Equity, Diversity and Culture

In 2025, the Equity, Diversity and Culture Working Group formed a Committee, co-chaired by Jenny Deague and Swati Mukherjee. The Committee influence the work of the society across a breadth of issues relating to workplace, workforce, representation and professional standards as well as helping to modernise the mission, values and constitution of the society to ensure that we look to a future that continues to represent the interests of our over 2500 members. The Committee were instrumental in the development of the CSANZ Code of Conduct, which was launched at the 2024 CSANZ Annual Scientific Meeting.
